A New Behaviour Change TRIAL for LGBTQ+ Communities
About the programme
LEVEL is a new, community-informed trial programme supporting LGBTQ+ people who are causing harm in intimate relationships.
LEVEL offers a one-to-one behaviour change programme, alongside dedicated support for current and former partners affected by harm.
LEVEL supports accountability, reduces harm, and helps build safer futures – all within a framework that understands the impact of identity, discrimination and trauma.
Run by The Brunswick Centre and WomenCentre, LEVEL is part of the Drive Partnership’s national effort to reshape responses to domestic abuse. LEVEL recognises the real and complex experiences of LGBTQ+ people and is designed to fill the gaps left by traditional services that often exclude or overlook LGBTQ+ relationships.
LEVEL recognises that abuse can happen in all relationships, and that support must be relevant and inclusive.
LEVEL is about balancing the scales – recognising harm, supporting growth, and helping build healthier, safer relationships in LGBTQ+ communities.
Referrals
Professionals working with LGBTQ+ individuals in Calderdale or Kirklees can refer into the programme. We also welcome self-referrals.
