The LEVEL Team Celebrates Pride Season Across Calderdale and Kirklees

This summer, the LEVEL team is proud to be out and about at a series of Pride and community events across Calderdale and Kirklees, connecting with people and raising awareness of the support available through the programme.

So far, we’ve had a brilliant time meeting so many of you at Kirklees (Huddersfield) Pride on Saturday 7 June, Deighton Carnival on Saturday 28 June, and Batley Pride on Sunday 29 June. Including meeting meeting Alison Lowe, Deputy Mayor of West Yorkshire for Policing and Crime (pictured). These events have offered a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, share resources, and have open conversations about health, wellbeing, and inclusion.

And we’re not done yet!

The team is now gearing up for Happy Valley Pride in Hebden Bridge on Saturday 26 July, followed by Calderdale (Halifax) Pride on Saturday 16 August. We’ll be there with information about the LEVEL programme, which supports LGBTQ+ people across Calderdale and Kirklees—so whether you’ve got questions, need a chat, or just want to pick up a few resources, we’d love to see you.

Come say hello, grab some goodies, and find out how LEVEL is working to build a healthier, more connected LGBTQ+ community.
